Description
Chaseley House has specialised in the loving care of the elderly since 1983 and is registered for 17 residents. It is situated in a quiet and select area of Rhos-on-Sea close to all the amenities, and just a short stroll from the picturesque promenade and beach.
The home is run under the personal supervision of the owners, Karen Owen who is Welsh speaking and a registered nurse, and her husband Mark Owen. Mark and Karen together with their team of caring loyal staff are committed to providing the very best of professional care to any one that wishes to be cared for in a happy environment. The loving atmosphere within Chaseley House is very much home like and in no way feels like an institution and this enables any new resident to settle in very quickly and become part of the family from day one. Chaseley House has gained a good reputation with local medical practices and social services and is one of the few last remaining family run homes in Rhos On Sea. This ensures a family like relationship with every resident and their families and friends.
Accommodation consists of private rooms both double and single all of which are tastefully decorated, light and spacious with rooms both on ground floor and first floor with the first floor having chair lift access. All rooms are fitted with nurse call systems, television and telephone points and a small hand basin with the majority having en-suite facilities. Residents are actively encouraged to furnish their rooms with their own furniture and personal belongings to make them really feel at home.
We have two large lounge areas to relax in, one being a television lounge whilst the other is a quiet lounge which overlooks our large lawned gardens and well maintained flower beds.
Our attractive and cosy dining room overlooks a private decking area and serves a varied menu of nutritious and wholesome food personally prepared by our experienced chef using fresh ingredients from local suppliers.
To aid and maintain personal hygiene Chaseley House has two ground floor bathrooms one of which has an assisted bath hoist and bath with therapeutic jet sprays whilst the second bathroom is a walk in shower room, which has been specially designed to accommodate wheelchairs. There is also a further bathroom on the first floor.
